The freshly baked cakes and savouries are always to die for at La Cucina da Mara and with this in mind I asked if they would be able to make a dessert/cake for me for a special dinner party. I had previously tried their Paradiso cake which is scrumptious but I really wanted a chocolate cake. Speaking to Rita, one of the owners, she agreed to make a chocolate version of the Paradiso, filled with a chocolate cream and covered with a dark chocolate ganache. When I picked it up, it was beautifully decorated and trimmed with blueberries and raspberries. It's safe to say that the cake went down a storm; it looked stunning - AND IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Thank you Rita and Mark for your continuing great service and the outstanding quality of your food. You are an absolute brilliant addition to Whitchurch Village and long may it continue!

Amazing drinks, best Mocha's I have ever had. Amazing panini, such friendly staff and it's a nice, quiet atmosphere as well. Definitely recommend and will be coming back!
